And of course in early April we have the 45th Anniversary of the Mustang being celebrated in the US with some of our members going OS to join the festivities and others traveling to Ballarat for the MOCA Nationals. Safe travels and good luck to all those traveling far and wide.

I will be celebrating the birth of the Mustang by driving mine as fast as I can around Mt Panorama during the Festival of Sporting Cars celebration at Easter.

If you want to go for a drive come down, or up, or across and have a look at a huge variety of classic sports cars doing their best to emulate their motorsport heroes.

On May 24th we will be celebrating the 45th Anniversary of the Mustang at the Vineyard Hotel.
This will be the 16th year for this event and to make it special let me know if you have any ideas to make it even more enjoyable. If we can oblige we will, so give it some thought and drop me a line ASAP.

Also our CFC (Combined Ford Club) delegate, Eddie Hadley, advised us that the new improved All Ford Day for 2009 will be at Eastern Creek Raceway on May 31. Apparently some pesky race club has booked the Skid Pan on the same day so Eddie says we will have to put up with “the lunatics going ‘round and ‘round there all day”

The funny thing is that at the recent committee meeting for my race club, the Southern Sporting Car Club, we discussed the calendar and how during our Skid Pan day in May there was “some car show at Eastern Creek that we have to work in with!!!”
