Presidents Report January 2010

Welcome to 2010 and the start of a new decade.

We finished off the Mustang year with the usual Christmas Memorabilia Auction; this time proceeds to be donated to the Sydney Children's Hospital at Randwick.

I'm not sure what we finally raised but it will be entered in Cas's Treasurer's report. Thank you to all who kindly donated items and those who offered generous bids to make this an enjoyable and profitable evening.

As is customary we kick off the Mustang calendar with the All American Day on the 17th of January and all is under control in the lead up to this huge event.

The Castle Towers Centre Management have been extremely pro-active in their support of this event with in-centre promotion, local newspaper articles, radio adverts and arranged entertainment.

All we need now is for you to turn up in force and if there at about 7am help with setting up the parking signs, trophies and directing traffic. We also need judges so if you can help with this please contact Ken Buckland on 0418 278 658 to discuss.

Thank you to all the members who contacted me regarding the DVD included in the December magazine. From the positive comments received it certainly achieved what we intended it to, and that is to give all our members a great overview of what we as a club are all about; friendship borne from a common interest.

I'm sure the calendar will reflect a broad range of events to cater for what you want to do with your Mustang so check it out and we look forward to seeing you in the future.
