Tuesday 3rd December Traffic Dodger Tuesday - Mittagong R.S.L. Club Last run of the year - We meet up at Uncle Leos at Campbelltown road, Casula from 10am for a meet n greet and a coffee or two, after the chit chat and wait for strays, we get away about 11 am. Heading south on the Hume Motorway we travel along to the Picton exit, turn right onto Picton Road and continue into Picton, downhill, at a steady pace, turn left at Prince street, cross the wooden bridge and go up to the old Hume, STOP at the STOP sign, turn left and trot over the hill coming to a round-a-bout turn right, 3rd exit, and follow the road under the via-duct all the way to Thirlmere, where we will re-muster. At Thirlmere, cross the track and turn left at the round-a-bout Once we have gasped and panted a bit, off we go again following the old southern rail line all the way passing through Couridjah, Buxton. Balmoral, Hilltop and finally arriving at Colo-Vale. At the T-intersection we turn left and proceed another kilometre to the second round-a-bout, taking the re-entry back onto the Hume Freeway, stay in the left lane and take the Mittagong exit. At Mittagong take the road to the right of the town clock and just down the road on our left is the venue. Park up the back as usual and then sign in, we will have the room out the back to ourselves again, this year if everybody could buy a unisex gift to the value of ten dollars, and we will play Santa and everybody gets a gift that way. Also, if you like to put a name tag on somehow, that would make it easy for everybody to be recognised as well. No need to book in but if you plan on being there, please let me know so I can tell the club, so they know how many seats to put in the stalls. Any queries give me a call, till then, stay happy and drive safe. Peter Cartwright 0408 976 726. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. |
